VISION SCREENING will take place on Tuesday November 22nd. If your child wears glasses, please make sure they bring them to school.
Vision screening is an important part of pediatric preventive health care, and is required annually in grades K-5, 7 and 9 by the RI Rules and Regulations for School Health Programs. If your child does not pass the vision screening, a referral letter will be sent home recommending a comprehensive eye exam. Please provide the school nurse with results from the follow up exam. Please email the school nurse if you have any questions. Thank you!

Thank you to our presenter, Chris Waddell, who presented his “NameTags” presentation today to our grade 2 and 3 students. Students learned that “It’s not what happens to you. It’s what you do with what happens to you.”
Our canned good food drive continues. Please consider donating a non-perishable food item. Some of these items will be shared with TAPIN, with our own families in need or with other local schools in Rhode Island.

Day of Giving November 25th
Our team works hard to support and bring awareness to causes close to us and we will be supporting Tap-in this season. We encourage our Nayatt Families to donate on this year’s Day of Giving to the Nayatt PTO & we will be supporting a percentage of the donations to support Tap-in. Tap-in is a local organization providing direct assistance to residents of Barrington, Bristol, East Providence and Warren. You can either send a check/cash in a labeled envelope with your child or simply go to the @NayattPTO on Venmo. THANK YOU!
