Upcoming Events:
Tuesday & Wednesday, April 13th & 14th-ricas ELA testing.
Students in Grade 3 will participate in the English Language Arts portion of the RI state assessments.
Thursday, April 15th-HMS Transition Night for Third Grade Families-Transition Form for Families

Wednesay, April 28th, Nayatt School Improvement Team Meeting, 6 PM
The focus of our work is on School Culture.
Teaching and Learning:
Our first graders are studying birds as part of their new English Language Arts Curriculum, Expeditionary Learning.
They are conducting observations and constructing bird journals with amazing drawings.
They are learning all about the parts of the bird, above are Mrs. Kovolyan’s students conducting observations on the Nayatt School grounds.
Thank you to our PTO Gardens and Grounds for the great outdoor learning spaces.
We are always in need of substitute teachers and teacher assistants.
Anyone interested in subbing requires a bachelor’s degree and to complete an application on School Spring
Thank you to all who participated in our ebook fair with Follette sponsored by the Nayatt PTO. We raised $2,200.00 and we were able to use $650.00 towards classroom books
