Empowering All Students to Excel

Special thanks to the Nayatt PTO for funding the Grade 2 Virtual Fieldtrip with Dinosaurs Rock to cement students learning about their Palentology Unit of Study. It was awesome! Beginning Monday, March 15th
We want to get real books into the hands of our students. They can be shipped to our school or to your home.
More information will be sent out this week. Teachers are preparing wishlists for their classrooms.

Teachers participate in professional development and students participate in a distance learning day for students.

HMS Parent Orientation for Incoming Grade 3 Parents

RICAS Dates-Grade 3:

ELA Testing-April 13th and 14th
Math Testing-May 11th and 12th

Trimester Progress Reports for Families:

March 25th, end of Trimester 2.
March 29th, student progress reports posted in Aspen.
Due to the statewide PD days, there are no formal conferences scheduled for the spring.
Parents can reach out if they have questions or concerns about the progress report or student learning.

Aspen is a Student Information Management System created by X2 Development Corporation. The Barrington Public School District uses Aspen to manage student information including grading, scheduling, attendance, discipline, and other data. Parents can log into Aspen to view information about their children.
